I'm Tracie K. Howell, LMFT, a licensed therapist with more than 20 years of experience helping children, teens, adults, and families navigate life's most difficult challenges. As a therapist, parent, and grandparent, I understand that anxiety, OCD, and fear affect more than the individual—they impact families, relationships, confidence, and the ability to fully engage in life.
My practice specializes in OCD, intrusive thoughts, compulsions, anxiety, panic, health anxiety, perfectionism, and related concerns. Over the years, I have helped hundreds of individuals and families take back control from OCD and anxiety using evidence-based treatment, including Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
Whether you are struggling with intrusive thoughts, compulsive behaviors, overwhelming anxiety, or helping a child navigate OCD, my goal is to provide practical tools, compassionate support, and a clear path forward.
My approach is direct, compassionate, and practical. I believe therapy should create meaningful change—not just insight. Therapy is not about learning how to feel certain all the time. It is about learning how to move forward, take back your life, and live according to your values even when uncertainty, discomfort, or fear show up.
Because life is not meant to be lived around fear.
Life is to be lived.
